Performance Santa Fe presents Israeli pianist Einav Yarden!
Praised for her “imagination and exceptionally vivid playing” (Washington Post), fast-rising pianist Einav Yarden is sure to astound audiences during her New Mexico debut.
Born in Israel and based in Berlin, Yarden has performed internationally as a soloist with the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra, Radio Symphony Orchestra of Berlin and the Berlin Radio Choir, Minnesota Symphony, Calgary Philharmonic, Beethoven Orchestra Bonn, among many others; and has received numerous awards, including competition prizes at the International Beethoven Competition in Bonn, Esther Honen International Competition, the Minnesota International Piano-e-Competition, and the Aviv Competitions in Israel.
A disciple of the great Leon Fleisher, Yarden has established herself as an “ingenious” (Tagesspiegel, Germany) performer with fresh perspectives on lesser-known gems of the keyboard repertory. In Santa Fe, Yarden will grace audiences during her November 21 solo recital with works by Bach, Hadyn, and Schoenberg before finishing the program with a composer whom she has made a specialty of — Schumann.
