Much more than a virtuosic trumpeter, Cuban American Arturo Sandoval has won 10 Grammy awards for his vivacious and dynamic compositions, led bands on tours around the globe, won an Emmy for his film scoring, and wrote a book about his experience as a protégé of Dizzy Gillespie. His music has, time and time again, pushed jazz and Latin music to new heights. This concert will feature selections from Sandoval’s most recent album Rhythm and Soul (2022) and promises to be an exhilarating night of masterful music.
