Now, he and his ensemble Hespèrion XXI bring Le Nuove Musiche to Santa Fe. Exploring the music of the Baroque revolution in Europe, this program features works by Giovanni Kapsberger, Emilio de’ Cavalieri, and Andrea Falconiero, performed by six musicians on historical instruments, including Savall himself on viola da gamba.
