Performance Santa Fe appoints Kathy Fletcher as new Director of Development

April 6, 2020, Santa Fe, NM – After an extensive national search, Performance Santa Fe, Santa Fe’s leading presenter of world-class music, dance and theater, today announced the appointment of Kathy Fletcher, CFRE as its new Director of Development, effective April 13, 2020.  Fletcher is currently the Director of Development at Texas Christian University’s College of Liberal Arts in Fort Worth, TX, where she was instrumental in the launch of an ambitious billion-dollar campaign.

Chad Hilligus, Performance Santa Fe’s Executive and Artistic Director, said, “Kathy is an accomplished fundraising executive with an impressive career spanning more than 20 years.  Performance Santa Fe’s philanthropic initiatives will thrive under her leadership and expertise.”

“After many years of visiting Santa Fe, I am thrilled to finally make it my home,” Fletcher said. “I am delighted to be part of this well-established and dynamic organization under the leadership of Chad Hilligus and I look forward to connecting individuals in a meaningful way to the mission and vision of Performance Santa Fe.”

Prior to her role at TCU, Fletcher was the Executive Director at the Midland College Foundation in Midland, TX, where she oversaw an endowed performing arts series to cultivate diversity and increase community engagement by presenting performances free of charge.  Upon receiving a master’s degree in public administration with an emphasis in nonprofit management, Fletcher began her fundraising career as the first Director of Development for the Lubbock Symphony. Since then, she has earned the prestigious CFRE (Certified Fund Raiser Executive) designation, an honor she shares with only 12% of all members of the Association of Professional Fundraisers nationwide.
