Description
The Academy of St. Martin in the Fields is known for its outstanding mastery of the most
beloved chamber works. The Academy’s wind ensemble, joined by pianist Caroline Palmer, is no different. The evening’s performance — which includes Mozart’s delightful
quintet for piano and wind instruments — will explore the different shades and timbres of
wind instruments alongside the richness and versatility of the piano, all mediated by the
group’s “impeccable sense of balance” (Seen and Heard International).
