Performance Santa Fe presents Danú!
Jump-start your St. Patrick’s Day celebrations with the lilting sounds of one of the world’s leading Irish bands—Danú. Featuring Irish and English vocals, flute, tin whistle, button accordion, fiddle, guitar, and bouzouki, this ensemble has been thrilling audiences with traditional Irish music that “stirs the blood and lifts the heart” (Irish Music Magazine) for over two decades. The musicians of Danú, who have won numerous awards from the BBC and Irish Music Magazine, come to Santa Fe on March 7 for an evening of “compellingly original, strikingly contemporary” (Los Angeles Times) Celtic music.
After enjoying this high-energy performance, audience members are invited to meet the musicians of Danú at an Offstage Artist Reception at Blue Corn Cafe & Brewery in Downtown Santa Fe. Tickets to the reception are $50 and available through the Performance Santa Fe office.P
