Experience stars of The Santa Fe Opera up close in a different context. Performance Santa Fe’s annual Festival of Song is a series of intimate one-hour recitals featuring stars from The Santa Fe Opera. A meet-the-artists reception follows each recital at the historic Scottish Rite Center.
“Warm, resonant” (The Associated Press) Verdian baritone Quinn Kelsey and “rich, dark” (Opera News) dramatic soprano Marjorie Owens take the stage for an afternoon of marvelous singing. This husband-and-wife pair are Metropolitan Opera stars (Kelsey is also Santa Fe Opera’s Rigoletto) and will perform songs and duets by Brahms, Duparc, Finzi, Strauss, and Wagner, accompanied by the “wondrous tact and virtuosity” of Tamara Sanikidze.
