Performance Santa Fe presents the world’s greatest a cappella group in a holiday concert!
Since 1968 at King’s College, Cambridge, this “remarkable” (The Scotland Herald) vocal sextet has been dazzling the world with traditional choral music as well as innovative arrangements of everything from big band tunes to Paul McCartney. As The Washington Post raves, “their vocal production was effortless, stylistically varied and beautifully blended.
The ensemble consists of an distinctive configuration including two countertenors, a tenor, two baritones and a bass, and its current members have been with the group from between two and twenty-six years. “Effortless singing, charming manners, intelligent programming” (Bachtrack) from these “voices spun of gold” (BBC Music Magazine) await you at the beautiful Cathedral Basilica.
