Description

The Aaron Diehl Trio partners with
vibraphonist Jason Marsalis for a fresh
take on the music of one of the most
historically significant ensembles of
the 20th century — The Modern Jazz
Quartet. A classically trained pianist,
Diehl is lauded for his ability to fuse
together traditional and fresh forms
of music-making. He is joined by
Aaron Kimmel on drums and Paul Sikivie
on bass, plus vibraphonist Warren Wolf,
known for his sophisticated and exploratory
style, to reinvent the sound of one of
jazz music’s most beloved groups.
