Violist Nicole Taylor joined the Arts for Life Program in 2023 after relocating from Austin, Texas. There she was active in the vibrant local music scene as a private strings teacher and co-founder of the Sienna String Quartet. A multi-faceted participant in the musical world, Nicole earned a BA in Viola performance from the University of Kansas as well as a trade-certificate from the Roberto-Venn School of Luthiery. For over a decade she has worked in string shops, making music and making musical experiences possible in communities across the West and Midwest.
